Work Packages

The AMAICE project is structured into four interconnected work packages, each contributing to our shared goal: empowering teachers and students through innovative, AI-supported, game-based mathematics education.

• AI-Escape-Game-Editor & Database

  We’re creating a web-based AI Escape Game Editor and a shared game database for teachers across Europe. The editor is intuitive, multilingual, and powered by secure, school-ready AI that lets students chat with game characters. The database enables teachers to create, share, and rate games — building a collaborative hub for innovative math teaching.

• Digital AI-Enhanced Escape Games

  Ten interactive math escape games on geometry and functions will bring mathematics to life through puzzles, stories, and AI-based dialogue. Each comes with teacher guides and classroom tips, refined through real classroom testing across Europe.

• Teacher Professional Development

  We equip teachers with everything they need — from tutorial videos and an interactive Self-Study Course (designed as a game!) to ready-to-use training materials. All resources are co-created with schools to ensure they’re practical, engaging, and easy to use.

• Dissemination & Community

  AMAICE connects educators across Europe through teacher trainings, an international online conference, and a vibrant online platform. A unified visual identity and long-term strategy ensure the project’s impact lasts — turning ideas into a growing European community of game-based learning pioneers.
